We hope everyone is having a great Christmas season. I come to you this Christmas Eve with sad news. One of our grandchildren are not going to get their Christmas Wish this year.
We found this letter at our house right before we left for Miami. It truly does hurt our hearts knowing that we will not be able to physically hug all of our grandchildren for awhile. It is definitely a different type of Christmas for us.
Never doubt that family and friends that share your life are glad that you are there. Their presence in your life is a gift and the same holds true for them. (I hope you got the pun!)
As the great angel, Clarence, wrote in a note to George Bailey, “No man is a failure, who has friends!” I’ve found that I could apply by replacing friends with family as well. We will be home for Christmas next year, Emmalyn!
We love and miss all of you,
Brian and Gwen
Merry Christmas!
This is precious!!
