Sigriswil, Switzerland Photo Gallery
A view of Lake Thun and Mount Niesen.
Lake Thun from our chalet.
The clouds are so pretty here.
The rhododendron flower, which I love, right outside our door.
Our view of Lake Thun and the Swiss mountains.
The view towards the side from our chalet.
More views from the chalet. It was so beautiful!
The church in Sigriswil, the town we were near.
Here you can see the snow capped mountains , Eiger and Monch.
All the clouds went away so now I can see the tips of Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau (just barely) Mountains. These are the tallest in that region.
An almost cloudless view of the mountains.
A clear view of Mount Neisen.
Flowers and chalets on the side of the mountain.
The church in Sigriswil with a clock tower and bell that we could hear ring up at our chalet.
The chalet we stayed in is on the left slightly hidden by the barn.
Another rhododendron at our chalet.
Flowers, chalets, green fields, and mountains! We loved this view!
These chalets dot the Swiss hillsides.
I took this photo of the chalet we stayed in from a walking trail that went right beside it.
Looking down at the Sigriswil Panoramic Bridge, a suspension bridge.
This bridge is almost 372 yards long and crosses the 200 yard deep Gummischlucht gorge.
Now we are walking on the panoramic bridge.
Looking down at the gorge.
Looking at the gorge the other directions.
View of the chalets from the bridge.
Looking down the gorge at the water.
I was so excited to see this rainbow and a whisper of a double.
It rained on us all day and when it cleared that evening we noticed that the mountains had more snow.
You can see there's more snow on Mount Niesen.
Looking down Gummischlucht gorge-Look closely and you can see the suspension bridge.
