Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland Photo Gallery
Brian in the valley he dreamed about coming to.
The waterfalls at Lauterbrunnen are just stunning!
The Columbine flowers were so pretty!
Columbine, but a different color.
The farmers sell their products in a self-service stand, but nothing to buy today.
You have to be here to truly experience the whole effect. It's so beautiful!
The mountains towards the back of the valley.
The clouds cleared to see the peaks and a paraglider.
Bladder Campion (Silene Vulgaris)
There were a lot of cows. These were laying in the flowers.
Weisse Lütschine river flows through Lauterbrunnen valley.
The little houses show a little of the perspective of how big these cliffs and waterfalls are.
I loved hearing the cow's melodic bells ring as we walked the valley.
Another photo of the river and another waterfall.
A covered bridge over the river.
Now this is a Swiss cow.
A beautiful church in the valley.
Looking back into the valley as we walk.
I noticed what looks like terraces at the top of this steep mountain, but I found out that they are avalanche and/or Rock barriers.
Now compare this photo, the clouds cleared away as we were there and you can see the barriers better.
Since it was so clear we drove on up to Grindewald and this was a photo on the way.
At Grindevald.
Also, at Grindevald.
As we drove back to the chalet we saw so many paragliders!
